Will and I have been in classes all day! It is so overwhelming and there is so much we have to know. We each pricked a finger and gave her a shot today. Wow- is all I can say about it. I know it'll get easier and easier for us. Grandmother kept Lydia company while we were away.
Lydia had a good day today. She slept fairly well last night and took a nap today too. Her blood sugar is still all over the place, but they are doing a lot of tweaking with the insulin to find what is the right amount for her little body.
I can feel all the love and prayers from every single one of you. I'm speaking for myself and Will when I say we appreciate all of the phone calls, texts, emails, prayers and messages!
Here's a few pics from today... Our sweet girl is gradually getting her spunk back. Hooray!
Wow! She looks so good! Lee-ya has come a long way. I wish I could list all the people who have told me they love you and have been praying, but I don't think there's enough room on the comment page. Many of my students said their families prayed for Lydia last night. Sweet things. They know their teacher is a little on edge about her baby! I'm so thankful for the update!
ReplyDeleteDantzler is loving the personal attention she is getting from her cousins. She's just not sure what to think, but she's liking it fo sho! I can't wait for my fam to get home! You and Will are wonderful parents to that precious baby!
What a good report and I love the pictures. They are all precious!!! Dantzler had a good day at Mothers Morning Out and brought home a get-well card from Lydia's class. This afternoon we played at Oak Drive with Carter, Dowling and Sissy, and she loved that. I think she wanted to go home with her Sissy - not on a school night Tiny D! Prayers of thanksgiving offered up tonight!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! She looks so great...so do you and Will! I just love the fuzzy slippers with the cozy coupe. Prayers go up for open, clear minds for Lydia's Mommy and Daddy so they can learn, learn, learn!
