Most wonderful time of the year....

SEC Championship- Georgia Dome

Sweet Lydia and I went to open house at Dothan Nurseries.

Dantz asked for a puppy and a puzzle. Lydia just wanted to send a letter.

Got this special ornament in the mail a few days ago from the McFatters. So sweet and thoughtful.

I joined Dantz for her Christmas party on Friday.

This afternoon we loaded up and went caroling with the youth from church. It was so sweet to visit some of the older members of the church that are home bound and sing Christmas songs to them. Leaving the nursing home, Lydia asked me if I was going to stay in a hotel like that when I got older. :)

Afterwards, we went to a big bomb fire for cocoa and hot dogs.

I don't know about all of you, but the holidays kinda snuck up on me. We went to Grandmama and Granddaddy Kings for Christmas lunch on Saturday. It was delicious and so good to see everyone. Some of my best memories are being with my grandparents and I love them very much. They were always like my second set of parents. I can only hope to be more and more like my Grandmother. (Will claims he is more like her and I'm more like GD King ) :) She is one super, special lady.

The girls are wanting Santa to bring them a puppy. I asked Lydia wouldn't she enjoy a lot of toys instead of a puppy. She said, I don't want any toys, just a dog. Uh oh.... I then went on to say, what about Disney, wouldn't you rather go there than have a puppy. She said, you  know I'm scared of people in costumes, and I don't want to go to Disney.

It's looking like a puppy.... Stay tuned.

November 2013

Dantz watching peanut parade

Warm day for parade. Dantz had to pull her pants up.

Waving to the queens. (They like the queens and marching bands best)

Dog sitting, Ellie. Sweetest dog ever!

They made Ellie wear a head band too. Sweet Ellie.

Thanks Lydia. :)
