Mother's Day Weekend 2013
Every year I head to the beach with a bunch of wonderful mothers to relax and enjoy Mother's Day Weekend. We always have a blast.
As you can see, the girls and Will had their own adventure, while I was away. He sent me these pics on Saturday. (yep, he's the fun one) :)

Dantzler's 3P Program
What a sweet program! Dantz was so cute and well mannered on stage. She did a great job singing and performing with her friends.

Checking in
Hard to believe it is already May. The girls are getting BIG. Dantz is almost done with 3P and Lydia with 4P. Cannot believe L will start Kindergarten next year. She got accepted into Montana Magnet and we are super thrilled and nervous about it. We love First Pres Preschool because there is no other like it, but L needs a school nurse. She hit a 26 blood sugar at school, just this week. Dantz will stay at First Pres for 4P and child care next year. I know that Lydia will miss it, but I told her about the real library at her new school and she is sold. :)
Work is going good and the fact they are loving child care makes it so much easier. Will and I have both been informed not to pick them up early. I guess that's a great thing, especially since they will spend their Summer there. The teachers are wonderful and they are truly on top of Lydia and her diabetes. Dantzler's teachers love on her and brag on her.
Will caught himself talking to Lydia's teacher last week and asking her all about L and Dantzler's teacher was standing with her. He said that he stopped and immediately asked how Dantz was doing. We definitely get so caught up in Lydia and her diabetes, that we fail to check on Dantz Machine. It's a good thing she's such a trooper.
Love these two!

Fishin' and Pickin'
It was a pretty long week, especially since Dantz was sick most of it. She didn't feel good on her birthday and continued to go downhill. She was negative for strep, but that pumpkin had one heck of a sore throat and fever.
By Friday, she was much better. Will picked them up that afternoon to head to the strawberry patch. When they arrived, they were told it was closed from the rain and mud. As you can see below, Dantz was not happy. This seems to be her reaction to a lot lately and we are really working on her and her meltdowns. Whew, it's a good thing she's cute.
After naps on Saturday, we loaded up for the strawberry patch. It has become a tradition and the girls love it. (and the strawberries are yummy too!)

Saturday was family day and we loaded up for a fishin' trip. Fishing lasted about ten minutes. Lydia kept easing into the pond, until she finally just belly flopped in. It was freezing and muddy. She did not care and was having the best time.
