A Weekend of Fun in the Sun!

Friday afternoon we loaded up and headed South for the weekend. The girls have been asking for a beach trip and the weather predicted sunny skies, so we made it happen. And I am so very glad that we did.

Finally, we are out of the van and enjoying some fresh air!

We each had a sleeping beauty in our lap for what seemed like hours......

Will took a load of stuff to the van and returned with this tasty treat!

Leaving the beach... 9:30-4:30, we brought it hard core!!

Impromptu Dance Party

After the dance party, we showered and put the girls in their pjs. Will and I got dressed and went on a hot date. Happy "early" Anniversary to us!

Sweet, Aunt Weezer came over and sat with the girls while we went to Saltwater Grill for a delicious dinner.

Will snapped this. I asked some ladies if they would like a picture together, then I ended up being the photographer for several others.

Can you say, YUM! This was Will's fine dish- Red Snapper with a soft shell crab on top.

Sunday morning, we got up and headed straight to the Waffle House. It never disappoints, in my book.

Dantz: "I want toast and bacon"  Lydia: " I want a waffle"

Let's just say they were fighting over the last bite of waffle. Will and I were hoping for a bite, but it didn't happen.

After breakfast, they took me back to the condo to clean and pack our things. They went on an adventure with their daddy. Once again, he's the fun one.

We had a great weekend together! Thanks Grandmother and Rob for letting us use the condo and also to Aunt Weezer for watching the girls, way past her bedtime. :-)

We can't wait to do it again!
